Kristen started her career as an auditor, but ultimately found her niche working alongside clients. She helps business owners and individuals navigate changes during the growth phase and identify opportunities. Kristen spent the last few years building the Vestboard team – focused on protecting a culture that promotes a collaborative team approach, fosters innovative ideas and adheres to the highest professional and performance standards. Kristen was born and raised in Arizona, graduated from the University of Arizona with a major in Finance and Accounting, and plans to live in Phoenix forever. While Kristen enjoys her professional career as a CPA, she finds the most joy spending time with her husband, David, and their three kids.
Having decided to become an accountant in his junior year of high school after taking his first accounting course, Jordan has since spent his entire career in public accounting. His mission has been to transform an industry that lacks vision and ideas. Outside of work, Jordan can be found spending time with his wife, Jamaica, and their kids Noah, Ike, Ryan, Sunny and Gus.
Jenna graduated from ASU with a Master of Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Civic Leadership. Jenna’s experience has ranged from a Managing Editor for the local college newspaper to a lead wedding and event coordinator. As Director of Operations, Jenna’s background enables her to advance Vestboard’s commitment to being a client-focused firm. Her personal interests include going to ASU Football games, playing kickball and spending time with her husband and daughter, Cora.
David is a graduate of NAU with his B.S in Accountancy. His background is in Food and Beverage, helping open and manage bars and restaurants in Northern Arizona. His education in accounting helped his management team exceed company financial expectations. David encountered a CPA in Flagstaff looking for help during tax season, which led to his discovery that he enjoyed the challenge of providing tax services. While David enjoys his role as a tax accountant, he likes to spend his free time playing frisbee golf, soccer and watching football.
Katy graduated from ASU with a BS in Finance. Her broad experience with banking, underwriting, payroll, HR and accounting gives her an advantage in providing well-rounded accounting assistance. She enjoys being able to use the diversity of these skills in supporting our clients. When Katy is not at work, she spends time with her husband, Zack, and their two boys, Keagan and Connor.
Kevin was born and raised in Seattle, WA, and he earned his degree from the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. Kevin has spent the last 17 years in public accounting, assisting small-to-medium sized businesses, their owners, and their families meet their financial goals, stay in compliance, and ease their tax burden. Outside of work, Kevin can be found spending time with his wife, six dogs, and four cats.
Renee graduated from Walsh College of Accountancy & Business Administration with a BBA in Accounting. In addition to her experience in public accounting, Renee spent years in corporate accounting and built a solid foundation of best practices for accounting systems. Originally from Michigan, Renee is enjoying the sunny state of Arizona. Renee enjoys traveling, but has recently been spending most of her free time studying for the CPA exam.
Alexandra Barrows graduated from ASU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Her focus’s included interior design, business, and communication. She has a work background in customer service and small business administration. Her strong attention to detail and organizational skills drew her to taxation. In her free time, Alex enjoys classic cinema, coffee and spending time with her fiancé and cavalier king charles spaniel.
Jack Meccia graduated with a Juris Doctor from the ASU College of Law. Jack completed his undergraduate work in philosophy and economics at The College of New Jersey. Previously, he owned a small business specializing in college admissions advisory services. Anticipating a transition to tax, Jack became an IRS Enrolled Agent. He enjoys helping individuals and business owners plan for and meet their tax obligations. In his free time, Jack enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and discovering new music.
